Obviously a lot of these pieces deal with what it means to be a modern Peruvian. How to acknowledge and celebrate the past, while also recognizing the oppression of the indigenous and poor people... what does that mean in a modern context. Can people still gain knowledge and wisdom from the past while embracing modernity?
